Gurdaas Maan is an Indian singer, songwriter, choreographer and actor. He is regarded as one of the top most artist of Punjabi music. He shot to fame with the chartbuster song ‘Dil Da Mamla Hai’ way back in 1980. Since then he has cut 27 albums and also penned over 200 songs.
Early Life
Gurdaas Maan was born on 4th January, 1957 inGiddarbaha, Muktsar in Punjab, India in a Jatt Sikh family. His parents are Sardaar Gurdev Singh Mann and Tej Kaur. After completing his formal education from Malaut he was enrolled for higher education in Patiala by her parents. Since he was a sports buff as well, it prompted him to get a degree in physical education.
Later, he also took part in various activities like sports and singing and won many awards. He is also a black belt in Judo Karate.
